A photo exhibition by internationally recognized Italian journalist and photographer Fabio Bucciarelli
After the Evidence solo exhibition in 2012 and the organization in 2019, with Atlas of Wars and Conflicts in the World, of Wars: Telling the War. Mosul and the Others, Fabio Bucciarelli returns to the Galleries, a place to experiment with languages of history, but also to observe and document the present.
This is an important and extraordinarily topical photographic exhibition, a work denouncing the wars and conflicts that are bloodying our present.
As Raffaele Crocco states - director of the Atlas of Wars and Conflicts in the World - “This exhibition is meant to be a cry of alarm. Near us, a few hundred kilometers across the sea, a tragedy is unfolding that has few precedents in terms of ferocity and determination of those who want to kill.
In the Near East, Israel has decided on the annihilation of a population and, at the same time, has launched a policy of aggression in the name of a hypothetical 'lasting peace,' to be achieved with the final and total defeat of its enemies: Iran and Hezbollah.”
“What must be done,” Crocco continued, ”is to document the massacre, to tell the crime. Fabio Bucciarelli did that. He descended into hell to tell us with his photos what is happening.
