Each year, on the last Sunday in January, there is the annual date with this important cross-country skiing event, one of the classic long distance "granfondo" races, the Marcialonga. Alongside the most famous athetes, the true stars are the more than seven thousand participants who compete in the enchanting setting of the Fassa and Fiemme valleys.
On Friday, January 24, a non-competitive cross-country ski competition of about 4 km in classic technique takes place on an easy and short part of the Marcialonga rink. Suitable for all, even who is not so trained. Big athletes and futures champions of US Monti Pallidi will take part in it.
Start in Forno di Moena at 5.00 p.m. and arrival in Moena, in the main square ("Piaz de Ramon").
