Milk Fest

Milk processing on Brentonico plateau

ATTENTION: The opening of cultural and tourist sites, access to them, to public transport and to the services described in these pages is governed by the containment measures put in place by the government authorities and the Autonomous Province of Trento to deal with the COVID-19 health emergency. The rules may vary over time and provide for the application of different security measures — from closure, to social distancing, to the mandatory use of personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks. We therefore ask you to consult the section Travelling safely on this website and to contact the managers directly for updated information on how to gain access.

Two days among farm animals, milk, cheese and ice cream tasting.
Cesare Battisti Park on Brentonico plateau hosts the “Fera de San Bartolamè” (“Saint Bartolamé fair”), the ancient livestock fair. You will learn how to process milk in order to create high quality cheese and ice creams. Children will meet different farm animals: cows, goats, sheeps, rabbits, horses and hens! The luckiest ones will also have the opportunity to ride a pony accompanied by a careful expert. During the whole weekend it will be possible to taste some fresh delicious milk! Buy some local handmade products at the farm market and try some of the recipe of this plateau. Put of your agenda all the appointments of the Milk Fest here in Trentino!
