MET Val di Fassa Enduro World Series
The international circuit EWS 2020 gets to Val di Fassa for the second time. Canazei is the eighth "riding destination" in the world
2020 confirms Canazei as the only Italian leg of the Enduro World Series. The location has been showing itself off during the years, hosting several top level competitions of the Superenduro Italia, EWS Qualifier and EWS European circuits. A result that highlights the extraordinary beauty of the Dolomites and above all the quality of the organization - entrusted to the Fassa Bike group supported by the local Tourist Board and by the collaboration of the mountain lift companies.
EWS is the most important circuit of the enduro mountain bike discipline, where the best bikers and speed specialists compete in one of the most important "riding destinations" in the world, such as Manizales (Colombia), Lo Barnechea (Chile), Olargues - Montagnes Du Caroux (France), Petzen/Jamnica (Austria and Slovenia), Whistler (Canada) and Zermatt (Svizzera). The MET Val di Fassa Enduro World Series takes place between 4th and 5th July and will be the fourth appointment of the EWS 2020 season. Canazei and the Dolomites, UNESCO Word Heritage, are certainly the perfect "venue" for this kind of "off-road" adventures: waving webbings on uncovered tracks, never-before-seen single trails by the Bike Resort at Belvedere, which develop through high altitude meadows and conifer woods, in a very uncommon exchange of tracks and sceneries. These elements represent an abslolute news for many athletes. The competition will take place on a ring, with long and demanding timed descents are introudced by ascending transfers.
The Italian helmet producer MET will have a leading role not only during the event, but also during the whole summer season, as official provider of the organizing Fassa Bike staff and as promoter of other important events.
Supporters. With the bike pass that can be purchased at the special price (available at the Fassabike marquee), and that is valid for two days (on 4th and 5th July), everyone will be able to reach the track up in the mountains and follow the event track-side. Thanks to the EWS Bike Days offer, the appasionates can ride the same race track, still tape-marked, join a guided tour with the Fassabike local crew or to test on the field knee pads and body armour by MET.
