Light compositions - Art as knowledge
The Provincial Council of Trento will host an anthological exhibition dedicated to painter Ettore Lunelli from Trentino (1924-2011), on the centenary of his birth, from July 4 to 31 in the exhibition halls of Palazzo Trentini.
On display are 140 works including oils on canvas, tempera paintings and graphics.
On the centenary of his birth, Ettore Lunelli speaks to us through his extensive pictorial work of a particular vision of life. In search of the essence, he practices a figurative art - of the natural landscape and familiar figures, household objects and religious iconographic tradition - traversed and oriented by light.
Not reproduction of reality as it appears but representation of its value, its spiritual center.
