A week dedicated to milk and to the typical dairy products of Val di Fassa

A whole week dedicated to milk and cheese awaits you in Val di Fassa, from July 29 to August 5. Do not miss the chance to know the white gold of Val di Fassa and of all the Dolomites, through delicious visits to farmhouses, cow-milking demonstrations, total white thermal moments and even a dinner under the stars by a farmhouse to celebrate a whole week of food festival along the Cheese Route of the Dolomites. Even the traditional "Festa ta Mont" turns white for the occasion: musik, folklore and much fun bring you at altitude with an itinerary and a part of the famous fair entirely dedicated to milk and local cheeses, such as the famous "Cher de Fascia". Games, workshops, tasty moments and even a Spa corner, plunged in the wonderful scenery of Val San Nicolò, with its peaks enlightened till late night.

  • Sunday, July 29 from 5.00 p.m. to 7.00 pm. - Caseificio Sociale Val di Fassa (Pera di Fassa)
    Latte in Festa Open Day. A toast enriched by the cooking show of the chef Matthias Trottner from Baita Checco and by the fascinating melodies of a mountain choir;
  • Monday, July 30 at 9.30 a.m. - San Pellegrino Pass (Moena)
    Mountain pasture. Guided excursion at San Pellegrino Pass along a simple path to discover the Alpine habitat. Breakfast at Malga San Pellegrino and lunch by the Ristorante La Stua de Zach. Reservation required, information at Val di Fassa Tourist Board, Phone +39 0462 609770
  • Tuesday, July 31 at 9.30 a.m. - Pozza di Fassa
    The milky way. Guided walk along the legends path with snack and guided visit to the agricultural farm Masc Aloch. Afterwards, Cheesenic with local cheeses and products by the cheese factory and guided visit for families to "L Malghier", detached section of the Ladin Museum.   • Wednesday, August 1 from 11.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. - Active Hotel Olympic (Vigo di Fassa)

  • Wednesday, August 1 at 5.00 p.m. - L Malghèr (Pozza di Fassa)

  • Wednesday, August 1 at 9.00 p.m. - Enoteca Valentini (Canazei)
    "Cher de Fascia", what a delight! Tasting of different seasoning of the well-known local cheese;
  • Thursday, August 2 at 10.00 a.m. - Caseificio Sociale Val di Fassa (Pera di Fassa)
    "Chel dal Formai". Guided visit to "L Malghier", detached section of the Ladin Museum by the cheese factory, dedicated to the dairy production. A tasting will follow. Reservation required, Phone +39 0462 764076
  • Thursday, August 2 at 4.00 p.m. - Moena

  • Thursday, August 2 at 7.00 p.m. - Agritur El Mas (Moena)
    In the stables and under the stars. A magic night with aperitif in the stable and dinner under the stars: the menu will be based on milk and local cheeses and the soirée will be enlivened by music entertainment and a bonfire. Reservation required, Phone +39 0462 574221
  • Friday, August 3 at 5.30 p.m. - Masc Aloch (Pozza di Fassa)
    Everybody at the farm! Visit to the agricultural farm and cow milking followes by a delightful snack with homemade salami and cheeses. Reservation required, Phone + 39 392 6226345
  • Friday, August 3 at 9.00 p.m. - Pozza di Fassa
    Waiting for "Festa ta Mont". Folkloristic parade from the square Piaza de Sèn Nicolò along Strada de Meida. Afterwards, party by the events pavilion;
  • Saturday, August 4 and Sunday, August 5 from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. - Val San Nicolò (Pozza di Fassa)
    "The milk village". During the "Festa ta Mont", the milk village will be animated by workshops, ancient games, shows and demonstrations. A wellness corner will be organised by QC Terme Dolomiti. Moreover, themed tasting will enliven the well-known event till late night.
