When the cows leave the stables and are led to pasture in the green mountain fields, it means that summer has come. For the first time this ancient tradition can be attended also in Val di Fassa: you will get to know the rituals of the farmers, say goodbye to the cows that are leaving the village of Soraga and celebrate their arrival at San Pellegrino Pass. The event will be surrounded by some special typical dishes of Val di Fassa’s farmhouses, by the farmer’s tales and by the Ladin folklore. Yyou will get the chance to discover the alpine pasture with a local guide and even to adopt a cow, which you can meet again in September during the "Desmonteada", when the animals return to the valley. In collaboration with Farmhouse Agritur Ciasa Dò Parè, "Strada dei Formaggi", Association "Malghe e pascoli" from Soraga and Tourist Board Val di Fassa.
