The magical Christmas parade

During the festive period, the centre of Moena turns into a real Christmas village. One strolls among the little houses offering many ideas for a last-minute gift, from textiles and handcrafted objects to delicious delicacies to enjoy at home. Children's laughter resounds in the two squares, where a merry-go-round, a toy train and even a large igloo are set up to play and help Santa's elves with their creations. All accompanied by concerts and travelling shows, inspired by Ladin traditions and fairy tales of the past.

Moena and its entire community celebrate the start of the ski season with a parade in grand style (from 5 p.m.), with a Christmas flavour, to welcome guests who have chosen the Fairy of the Dolomites and Val di Fassa to spend the Immaculate Conception Break on the snow. The protagonist of the parade will be Santa Claus, accompanied by his elves and the many friends of Moena, including the "Enrosadira" Choir, the ski instructors, the "Scufons", the young recruits of the "Monti Pallidi" sports union and the athletes of Moena Sport Rhythmic Gymnastics. After the parade, a large brazier will be lit in Piaz de Sotegrava and all the groups will go on stage for the official presentation. Following this, the festivities will get into full swing with touring performances in the two squares and along the street "L Vial", in the enchanted atmosphere of the markets, with colourful hot air balloons, evocative songs and music performed by the "Bandino di Moena" (a reduced formation of the municipal band). Not only that, you will also have the honour of accompanying Santa and his elves in a carriage, passing through the characteristic district of "Turchia" (paid service, € 3 adults, € 2 children, from 3 p.m. departing from the square "Piaz de Ramon").
