Founded in 1987, the Corpo Bandistico Valle di Ledro is one of the most important cultural associations in Ledro. The band is made up of 45 members, mostly young people, and about thirty students in training. It is one of the youngest bands belonging to the Trentino Federation, but has an ancient heritage. There has never been a lack of music in the Ledro Valley, in Molina, Pieve, Tiarno di Sotto and Tiarno di Sopra: voices from over a century ago, then the silence imposed by the difficulties of the period between the World Wars.However, the band was reborn, united the valley and performed its first concert at Christmas 1988. The Corpo Bandistico’s progress has been rapid: collaborations with Ledro’s institutions and associations have enabled it to become a point of reference in the valley, but there has never been a lack of music performings throughout the province, Italy and Europe. The Corpo Bandistico has always managed to involve and enthuse with an energy and quality that has grown over the years. It will certainly do so again on this occasion.
