"Albino Luciani, the Pope of humility". Meeting with Andrea Tornielli, director of the Holy See's Dicastery for Communication
Review of religion, art and culture, promoted by the Deanery of Fassa with the support of the Tourist Board of the Val di Fassa, the Events Committees of the villages and the Archdiocese of Trento, which every summer proposes meetings, debates and reflections on current topics.
Wednesday, 17th August at 9.00 p.m.: "Albino Luciani, the Pope of humility". He remained only a month on the Petrine throne, but forever in the hearts of the people. John Paul I will be beatified in St Peter's Square by Pope Francis on Sunday 4 September 2022. We retrace his story and his message with Andrea Tornielli, editorial director of the Holy See's Dicastery for Communication, don Davide Fiocco, collaborator of Pope Luciani's postulation, and his nephew Gianni Luciani. Cardinal Beniamino Stella, postulator of the cause of beatification, will introduce the evening.
At 9.00 p.m. by the main hall of the schools in Moena. Free entrance. Only in Italian language.
