Geological tour: Ancient volcanos and today’s bloomed meadow
Guided excursion for families and children to the Buffaure area
Programme: hike for families with children (from 6 years old) along a simple path at altitude, where the rocks tell people their history and all the adventures that they have collected and kept even for us until now. A trip through the centuries, from the ancient volcanos to the alpine meadow, to get to know more about mountain flowers and plants. With the association "Sentieri in Compagnia". Difficulty: intermediate; the itinerary is not suitable for strollers.
Meeting point: at the uphill station of the Buffaure cabin lift at 9.30 a.m. Return around 12.30 p.m.
The excursion is free of charge. Ticket for the cabin lift and lunch at the mountain hut (not compulsory) are at the participant’s own expense.
