It’s impossible to find a term that defines the art of Joe Barbieri; words fall short of relating all the nuances of
his research in music, literature, language and sound. Not only because Barbieri brings his own references to
the very best composers of the Italian and French schools, as well as to jazz or bossa nova, but because each
of his songs is an accomplished universe, in which attention to detail tells of spontaneous predisposition to
Origami is the title of the latest album by Barbieri and this subsequent tour combines, without interruption,
this new material with songs from more than a decade of growth as a composer. An integral part of this tour
are his traveling companions: first of all Antonio Fresa, who accompanies Barbieri on the piano and in the
orchestration of this musical world. Then Giacomo Pedicini on acoustic bass, Stefano Jorio on cello and
Pasquale Renna on drums.
Together with them, the trumpet of the extraordinary Fabrizio Bosso, one of the most sought-after Italian
musicians in the world, an absolute legend, not only of the jazz scene, but the world of music in general, with
extraordinary projects that cross genre boundaries, always with great class and sensitivity. Along with Joe
Barbieri he will take us on a fantastic journey in which everyone will find a memory, some nostalgia, a
