Flicorno d`Oro

International band competition

ATTENTION: The opening of cultural and tourist sites, access to them, to public transport and to the services described in these pages is governed by the containment measures put in place by the government authorities and the Autonomous Province of Trento to deal with the COVID-19 health emergency. The rules may vary over time and provide for the application of different security measures — from closure, to social distancing, to the mandatory use of personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks. We therefore ask you to consult the section Travelling safely on this website and to contact the managers directly for updated information on how to gain access.

The XXII edition of the Flicorno d'Oro is postponed to 2021, from November 5th to 7th.

The 2021 edition of “Flicorno d’Oro” – or Golden Flugelhorn – promises to be a lively couple of days, packed with fabulous musical events, guaranteed to excite and stimulate music lovers from far and wide!

As always, members of the public are cordially invited to attend performances during the competition.

However, the “Flicorno d’Oro” is far more than just a competition! During the three days of nonstop music, there are also sorts of other events lined up. Starting with the Inaugural Concert which, every year, features a top European band, as well the nail-biting closing prize-giving ceremony. Our partner, Yamaha Music Europe, offers free seminars with precious advice as to how to maintain woodwind and brass instruments.
