Fis Baltic Cup
From January 19th to 27th, at the ski stadium Aloch, Latvia's and Lithuania's national championships are on stage
At the Ski Stadium Aloch in Pozza, training centre of the Italian national team and of foreign teams, there are great expectations for Fis Baltic Cup which, after the success of 2021 edition, comes back both in 2022 and 2023 with about 300 athletes, involved in six FIS race days, open to Elite U21 invitations, valid for Latvia’s and Lithuania’s national championships. In 2022, competitions are set for January, in particular: 19th January FIS giant slalom, 20th January Latvia Championships (giant slalom), 21st January Lithuania Championships (giant slalom); 25th January FIS special slalom, 26th January Latvia Championships (special slalom) and 27th January Lithuania Championships (special slalom).
The specialists of the tight poles will have to demonstrate their skill and training on the difficult track of the black slope in Pozza that confirms to be the ideal theatre for international competitions, thanks to its altitude gap (220 metres) and incline (average of 27%).
