Festival of friedship and solidarity
Friendship and solidarity party of the "Lifeline Dolomites" association in Val San Nicolò
A celebration of friendship and solidarity in Val San Nicolò by the Lifeline Dolomites association, a solidarity group uniting the Dolomites with Africa.
The association was founded in 2000 mainly as a support group for the late Dr Carlo Spagnolli, a doctor from Trentino who from 1975 was engaged in his medical-humanitarian mission in Africa until his death on 2 February 2020. Sharing the ideals of love for the sick and the poor of Africa, for whom Dr Carlo Spagnolli spent his life, Lifeline Dolomites continues the primary activity of collecting and sending to Africa by container medicines, medical supplies, food, clothing and various equipment to support the various health and food emergency projects, thanks to the great cooperation of its volunteers.
