Fake!
Exhibition: failures and betrayals of the human perspective
In everyday life, sight is the sense we rely most. And yet, it is often unreliable: most of what we see and believe to be objective, in fact, is not objective at all. This perfectly reflects in the technology for the creation and the reproduction of images and pictures we use everyday (smartphone, computers, televisions, projectors): these tools give life to contents that every day are more and more indistinguishable from the reality, relying on the boundaries of our sight and the facility to be tricked.
The exhibition "Fake!" unveils these limits, introducing the phenomena retained through an attentive scientific description, unmasking and overcoming the gambling of our senses.
Fake! wants to enhance the curiosity and educate to complexity, to act concretely about the conscious citizenship. To reach such a goal, the start-up from Trento "Level Up" has chosen to work in tight contact with the schools on the territory, involving the students both in projecting some exhibit and in mediating the exhibition to the visitors.
