DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer
High-mountain timed race, from Alba di Canazei to the Crepa Neigra along a track of about 2 km with 1000 m of altitude gap
On Friday, July 16 takes place the exciting DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer (former Dolomites Vertical Kilometer), first appointment of the Dolomyths Run (that gathers four races, Ultra Trail, Half Trail, Vertical and Skyrece). The runners will take part in a constant and staunch climb from loc. "Ciasates" in Alba di Canazei, at 1,456 m, to the mountain "Crepa Neigra" at 2,465 m: the ascent, along the "Lightning Path" ("Sentiero del Fulmine"), is slightly longer than 2 km, but with a demanding 1,000 meters difference in height and medium inclinations of 50% with some stretches that even reach the 70%. The records of the race have been conquered by the South-Tyrolean athlet Philip Götsch in 2016, with 31'34' and by the French Axelle Mollaret in 2017 with 37'39'.
