DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer
High-mountain timed race, from Alba di Canazei to the Crepa Neigra along a track of about 2 km with 1000 m of altitude gap
This year, the DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer (former Dolomites Vertical Kilometer) will unusually take place in September. On Sunday, September 20th, the participants will face a continuous and demanding ascent from "Ciasates" in Alba di Canazei (1.465 m) to the Crepa Neigra, at 2.465 m.) but the ascent, along the so called "Vial de la Sita" (Thunderbolt path), is not much longer than 2 km, but with a very demanding altitude gap of 1.000 metres, averacge inclines of 50% and some stretches that even reach the 70%. The records of the race have been conquered by the South-Tyrolean athlet Philip Götsch in 2016, with 31'34' and by the French Axelle Mollaret in 2017 with 37'39'.

- 7.30-8.45 a.m.: DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer, bibs distribution in "Ciasates" area in Alba (Canazei)
- 9.00 a.m.: DoloMyths Run Vertical Kilometer, departure every 30 seconds
- 12.30 p.m.: Lunch and prize-giving ceremony
