Dolomiti Ski Jazz - Marco Furio Forieri
The 25th edition of Dolomiti Ski Jazz arrives at Alpe Lusia, at Chalet Valbona, with a concert by saxophonist-singer Marco Furio Forieri
From 4th to 12th March, the "jazz track" crosses the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme with concerts on the terraces of the refuges, in clubs, theatres and squares.
From Canazei to Cavalese, all the way to Cembra: the Dolomiti Ski Jazz, scheduled from 4th to 12th March, expands again this year offering as many as 25 concerts. Warm rhythms such as jazz, but also blues, funk and Latin music will create thrilling contrasts with the snow-covered scenery of the Dolomites. Artists from the international scene will perform in the evenings in the clubs and theatres of the villages, while during the day they will take to the mountains, on the terraces of the mountain huts, some of which can also be reached by non-skiers. The festival will move day after day from one slope to another, from the Belvedere ski area in Canazei to the Alpe Cermis in Cavalese.
Dolomiti Ski Jazz: Marco Furio Forieri. Chalet Valbona - Alpe Lusia Moena (1,820 m), Friday 10 March at 12.00 p.m.

In 1986, together with other students of Suono Improvviso and Roberto Bebè Schiavini of the Santa Marta Blues Oratorio, he founded the band Zoo Zabumba, the icon of Venetian funk. With this band he plays until 1995, contributes to the writing of songs and arrangements, wins selections and then participates in Arezzowave and Anagrumba. In his career he counts: three Gold Records with "Pitura Freska" ("Na Brutta Banda", "Duri i Banchi", "Gran Calma"), one Platinum Record ("Na Brutta Banda"); a 1992 Tenco Prize with the dialectal song "Pin Floi"; the song "Santamarta", according to a survey by MEI (Meeting degli Indipendenti), ranked eighth among the best-loved dialectal songs in Italy.
