Dolomiti Ski Jazz - Float Music
The 25th edition of Dolomiti Ski Jazz arrives in the San Pellegrino ski area, at Paradiso Refuge, with a concert by "Float Music"
From 4th to 12th March, the "jazz track" crosses the valleys of Fassa and Fiemme with concerts on the terraces of the refuges, in clubs, theatres and squares.
From Canazei to Cavalese, all the way to Cembra: the Dolomiti Ski Jazz, scheduled from 4th to 12th March, expands again this year offering as many as 25 concerts. Warm rhythms such as jazz, but also blues, funk and Latin music will create thrilling contrasts with the snow-covered scenery of the Dolomites. Artists from the international scene will perform in the evenings in the clubs and theatres of the villages, while during the day they will take to the mountains, on the terraces of the mountain huts, some of which can also be reached by non-skiers. The festival will move day after day from one slope to another, from the Belvedere ski area in Canazei to the Alpe Cermis in Cavalese.
Dolomiti Ski Jazz: Float Music. Paradiso Refuge - San Pellegrino Pass Moena (2,130), Sunday 12 March at 12.00 p.m.
Programme: Float Music present their latest recording project, a musical journey through folk, jazz and rock, at Dolomiti Ski Jazz. The Bologna-based duo, consisting of Anna Tagliabue on vocals and Stefano Maimone on bass, will be joined for the occasion by Enrico Smiderle on drums and Giovanni Frison on guitar. The proposed repertoire ranges from very intimate sounds to more danceable and energetic ones. The songs are mostly taken from their album "Clouds & Butterflies", but there is no shortage of new compositions and covers of artists much loved by the duo.
The concert is free of charge. The event location is also accessible to non-skiers. The ticket for the ski lifts (chairlift) is paid for by the participants. The ski pass is valid.
