Demonstration by the Alpine Rescue
The members of the Alpine Rescue show the most important manoeuvres and the means they use at altitude in the "Piaz G. Marconi" square
An informative and demonstrative evening on mountain rescue, interspersed with slackline exhibitions (a sport, which originated around the 1980s in the United States from the world of climbing and then evolved to become a discipline in its own right, which consists of walking balanced on an elastic webbing). Members of the Alpine rescue team of "Alta Val di Fassa" section demonstrate in the square the main manoeuvres and means used in rescue operations at high altitudes. Their task is not limited to helping mountain goers in danger of their lives, the teams are also involved in vigilance and accident prevention from mountaineering, hiking and caving activities. In case of bad weather, the event will be held on the following day.
