Tasting Oltresommo

Tasting Oltresommo is an enogastronomic journey through the magical landscapes and small villages of Oltresommo on the Alpe Cimbra taking place on July 16th, 2023.

It consists of a family-friendly, 11 km enogastronomic walk along the Water Trail that unwinds through the old villages of San Sebastiano, Tezzeli, Cueli, Carbonare, and Nosellari in the pristine nature.

We might as well define it as a true journey into the past, where villagers welcome visitors in their houses and courtyards and display the old objects and tools that were once used by their ancestors while they tell past stories and anecdotes.
Along the trail, you will be able to taste the local delicacies and traditional products by the many refreshment posts that are set up: Vézzena cheese, fragrant bread, local cold cuts…to be accompanied by artisanal wines and beers!

ITINERARY
The starting point is San Sebastiano; then, the trail passes by Maso Guez and follows the “sentiero delle Leufer” path before crossing Tezzeli; it reaches Orbat and descends towards Cueli-Liberi. From there, the trail keeps going on the “sentiero dell’Acqua” path for a while until getting to Carbonare; then, it continues uphill towards Prà di Sopra before reaching Nosellari.
