Costume party for kids
The carnival masks say goodbye to the last day of Carnival parading through the streets of the village
In Val di Fassa, Carnival is one of the most charming and representative moments in the Ladin traditions, as well as a big, coloured folk celebration. Children wait with trepidation for Mardi Gras in order to become, for one day, superheroes, princesses and other characters. The 1st of March the carnival masks will meet in "Piaz de Sotegrava" square, at 2.00 p.m., and then parade along the streets of the village and end the celebrations at Fiabilandia park, nearby the church. Free entry to the park. In case the park isn’t accessible, the party will take place at the municipal playground.
Chaperons and children over 12 years old are required to wear a mask throughout the whole event.
