The Trento Dolomites Choir will enliven the afternoon with traditional mountain, Christmas and other songs.
The Trento Dolomites Choir was founded in 1949 by Professor Aldo Lunelli, who, with great tenacity, succeeded in bringing together a group of young choral enthusiasts.
Traditional mountain songs were the first public performances, but with the passing of time, a personal interpretative taste and a choice of repertoire was achieved, which immediately attracted the interest of critics and above all the public.
In over sixty years of activity, the "Dolomiti" has performed over 1600 concerts in Italy and Europe, some of which are true gems in the choir's activity.
Particularly noteworthy for their importance are those performed in the Great Hall of the Deutsches Musem in Munich, the Philharmonie in Berlin, the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Burgtheater in Vienna, the Reina Victoria Theatre in San Sebastian, the performance in St. Peter's Square in Rome in the presence of Pope John Paul II, in the Quirinale in front of the then President of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi and in Montecitorio on the occasion of the "Christmas Concert".
