A day with the champions Adam Ondra and Stefano Ghisolfi
Two super champions from the world of climbing are ready to share the secrets and passion which drives them to take on the hardest challenges in the world in competitions and on rock.
Adam Ondra – the only athlete in the world to have won both the Boulder and Lead championship titles. The first in history to climb a 9b+. The first repeat free ascent of Dawn Wall on El Capitan. Working towards opening the first 9C in the world. GardaTrentino Ambassador
Stefano Ghisolfi – one of the leading lights in Italian climbing. Almost always among the eight finalists of the World Cup and has already won the gold on 2 occasions.
He opened the first 9b in Italy and on the Massone crag in Arco solved the 100 movements of Ultimatum 9a+.
Pushing your limits always means training properly whether you are a pro or just an amateur who has to find the time after work or school.
In the temple of modern climbing that is the RockMaster Climbing Stadium, Adam and Stefano will swap tips with each other and with you too on how to get the most from your training sessions without losing motivation causing yourself injury. From 9.30 to 12.30.
Whether you're getting set to take on your first 9a or hoping to top out your first ever 6a, physical and mental preparation and management of the climb are the keys to success.
At the Pueblo di Massone cliff we will follow Adam and Stefano, first in the preparation – warm ups, study, visualisation and concentration – then the ascent of a route grade 9 or more.
From 5 to 6 p.m.
