Barefoot World Record
The world longest single line of barefoot people in the mountains.
Andrea Bianchi – editor of MountainBlog, author and barefooter – is the founder of the first barefoot hiking school in Italy. He published three books about the philosophy and the benefits of barefoot hiking: “Il silenzio dei passi” (The silence of steps), “A piedi nudi” (Barefoot) and "Con la terra sotto i piedi" (With the earth beneath your feet).
The appointment is for the 8th September 2019 in the heart of the Dolomites, Villa Welsperg, the visitor Center of the Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Nature Park. Everyone is invited to join the WORLD LONGEST SINGLE ROW OF BAREFOOT PEOPLE IN THE MOUNTAINS. It is a powerful message to encourage a more sustainable presence in the natural environment.
A record not made for the performance but made of participation, to send a strong message for a new and more respectful relationship with nature. Not just the record, but also a series of linked entertainments: yoga classes, barefoot workshop, guided visit of Villa Welsperg and many activities dedicated to children.
The event is organized with the collaboration of the Tourist Office San Martino di Castrozza, Passo Rolle, Primiero and Vanoi, Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino Nature Park and Trentino Marketing.
