Famous for his secret escapades, Banksy creates graffiti that go viral in a matter of hours. The artist's huge following on social networks makes each of his pieces a public artwork with a worldwide impact that becomes popular within a few hours of its completion.
Thus, while remaining anonymous, Banksy has become an icon of our time and one of the few artists capable of engaging with a very wide audience. The Mart's exhibition presents over 100 works, including paintings, screen prints, numerous stencils, some installation objects and memorabilia. Each of these works demonstrates the blunt, scathing, caustic and intelligent language the artist uses to speak to the world without filters.
