This is a moderately difficult tour that starts and finishes at Miola di Piné. It runs along the western and northwestern slopes of Dosso di Costalta, Pontara, Stramaiolo and Campidei. The first half of the route, which is covered by woods throughout, takes you to the pastures of Malga Stramaiolo Bassa, from where you can enjoy an extensive view of the Altopiano di Pinè and the Brenta Dolomites. The second half runs lengthways along the Valley, passing by the three lakes at its bottom and across the village of Brusago and the town of Baselga di Piné.
Note: along the way, there are two stretches where it's necessary to get off your bike and push it over an overall distance of about 250 m.

Turn-by-turn directions

The tour starts from Miola di Piné and heads for the Fovi locality. The uphill road is at first tarmac, but later dirt. After a steep stretch (which can however be tackled on the saddle), the climb becomes gentler as the road follows the contours of the slope of Dosso di Costalta. Where the road comes to an end in the vicinity of a wooden hut, we advise you to get off your bike and push it for about 100 m up a steep track into the wood that crosses a small depression. You then reach a forest road. Follow it until it joins the provincial road to Passo del Redebus. At the pass, leave the provincial road and take a tarmac road which climbs at a constant gradient to Malga Stramaiolo Bassa. From there, carry on first along a dirt road to cable car serving Rifugio Tonini, then along an unmarked, but obvious track across two streams. Keep descending through a wood until you reach a dirt road. Follow it past Malga Spruggio Bassa to the village of Brusago, which it reaches after a series of hairpin bends. From Brusago, follow the cycle path past the three lakes of the Altopiano di Piné (Buse, Piazze, and Serraia) to get back to the ice rink of Miola. Note: along the way, there are 2 stretches where it's necessary to get off your bike and push it over an overall distance of about 250 m. Refreshments: Malga Stramaiolo. You can shorten the tour by half by turning back at Passo del Redebus.
