A sunrise with Mozart and the chamber ensemble of a legendary orchestra 

Beyond the Grostè Pass, the Brenta Dolomites further north take on a different form. It mainly takes the shape of silence, which is occasionally broken by marmots chirping or rolling stones dislodged by chamois on ledges. In this slightly mysterious and largely unknown side of the Brenta Dolomites, this year the natural hollow of Prà Castròn di Flavona is hosting Dawn in the Dolomites, which is always an enchanting experience. The numerous lovers of music and the mountains who watch the sunrise from on high each year will be treated to an entirely Mozart-based programme by the Camerata Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra from Amsterdam, an ensemble formed by principals from one of the most prestigious symphony orchestras in the world. They got together because they wanted to take their experience as accomplished orchestral players into the field of chamber music. The incredible flexibility of Camerata RCO’s players enables them to explore the entire gamut of musical works, from Baroque to contemporary pieces.  

How to get there
from Passo Campo Carlo Magno via the Grostè cable car, open for the occasion, round trip cost €19.40 (paymnet parking available at the cable car departure point), and then on foot following trail sign 306/Sentiero delle Palete.
0.30 min walking time; altitude change: 150 m; difficulty level: E

During the concert, we will be illuminated by the sunrise, but it is necessary to have a headlamp for the approach trail.
